Yoodo: After almost two months

It's almost my second bill cycle and I've only experienced a one time slow-like-snail connection with Yoodo. Changing plan is super easy. No hidden charges. And I also got a GST rebate which means that my payment is less than the actual price. Yoodo's GST rebate So, it's all great, right? Well...almost. Now, here's the problem. The price is not actually that cheaper compared to other telcos postpaid plans. (Not all of them though.)  I'm a heavy user. For example, let's first compared it to Celcom's postpaid plan. Which ironically, owns Yoodo. My current Yoodo plan is 40GB of data, 50 minutes of voice call and 50 SMSes. And after the GST rebate, it costs me RM97.17. The nearest equivalent postpaid plan from Celcom would be the Gold Plus plan , which has 40GB of data, 100GB for streaming via Video Walla, unlimited calls to all networks, and unlimited WhatsApp and WeChat. And it costs RM103.88 including GST. The difference is only RM6.71...

Yoodo: After 20 days and why I switched from Digi to Yoodo

After successfully porting in my number, first thing first, speed test. Performed three different speed tests using three different apps on my phone. 1st Yoodo speed test 2nd Yoodo speed test 3rd Yoodo speed test First day testing and the results were very interesting. Now, after 20 days, I only experienced a one day lag where the speed was just... slow. Other than that, everything was smooth. 4th Yoodo speed test with full signal bar. One word, "Poor". The highest speed I ever got with Yoodo was this, Highest speed I got with Yoodo Compared to my previous postpaid plan highest speed, which was Digi 150 Infinite Plan , this speed is quite lacking. But, your millage may vary. Why did I switch from Digi to Yoodo? Digi weekends speed. 1....
